How we use your information

We will use your contact information to send you e-mail messages about our company or job postings that fit your profile. Only Acro (or agents working on behalf of Acro) will send you these direct mailings. You may opt out of receiving future mailings via e-mail; see the Opt In/Opt Out section below. At no time will we release your personal information to customers without your consent.

Acro uses industry-standard data encryption techniques like SSL (Secure Socket Layer) for its web applications. It is generally accepted that data transmitted using SSL is generally considered safe and secure. However, as with any technology, there is no guarantee that it cannot be breached. In the event Acro becomes aware of a breach, Acro will notify its active employees and partners as soon as a breach is detected. Acro may use the telephone or other electronic means, like e-mail, to contact you.

For those customers who participate in any of Acro’s various online procurement systems, we may ask for personal information necessary to fulfill the staffing request.

Who We Share It With

Acro does not sell or trade personal data to third parties. We will disclose personal information when required by law.

We will reveal a user’s personal information without his/her prior permission only when we have reason to believe that the disclosure of this information is required to establish the identity of, to make contact or to initiate legal proceedings against a person or persons who are suspected of infringing rights or property belonging to Acro or to others who could be harmed by the user’s activities or of persons who could (deliberately or otherwise) transgress upon these rights and property. We are permitted to disclose personal information when we have good reason to believe that this is legally required.

In order to provide our services, personal data you give us may be shared with other Acro operations that are governed by the same privacy principles and security practices. Because of the global scope of our operation, this data may also be transferred, stored, and processed in the United States or any other country in which Acro or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or agents maintain facilities.

We will send the personal data of our applicants and temporary employees to Acro customers and/or agents who are acting on our behalf to provide you an employment opportunity.

For our employees, we occasionally use other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as health and welfare benefits.

We may also send your personal data on a limited basis to marketing companies or survey sites who will then contact you to determine your feedback and satisfaction with our services. These companies may also send you information on our services.

We will only provide these agents and suppliers with the personal information they need to deliver the service we have requested.

If an outside vendor is used for this process, Acro will insure that the vendor has agreed to abide by Acro’s policies regarding safeguarding such information. Any Acro representative who is found to have violated this policy shall be subject to corrective action up to and including termination of employment.

Opt In/Opt Out

Acro offers its customers, applicants, and employees choices about receiving further communications from us, uses of information beyond the purposes for which it was provided, and transferring data to third parties. Acro obtains consent for any information deemed sensitive.

In order to comply with statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunities, we may also ask you to provide gender or racial information. The provision of this type of information will be voluntary, unless it is required by law, and will not hinder your employment opportunities. Accuracy and Access

Acro takes the necessary steps to ensure personal information is accurate, complete, and current. Acro employees and partners may contact their account managers or employee relationship managers at Acro to request that their data be corrected or deleted from Acro’s systems.

Because Acro offers a wide variety of different services through a global network, the personal information collected by each Acro operation may not all reside in a single location, such as when you submit your résumé or employment application to Acro in different locations. Consequently, please be aware that the choices and modifications you make to your personal data in one Acro operation may not automatically be reflected in other Acro operations. You may therefore need to contact each Acro operation to learn how to update or delete your information. (See How to Contact Us section below.)

Acceptance of These Conditions

We assume that all visitors of our websites, applicants, candidates, suppliers, partners and others using our service offerings have carefully read this document and agree to its contents. If someone does not agree with this privacy policy, they should refrain from using our website and services offerings. We reserve the right to change our privacy policy as necessity dictates. Continued use of Acro service offerings after having been informed of any such changes to these conditions implies acceptance of the revised privacy policy.
