Diversity & Inclusion at Acro

Diversity and inclusion have been the core values at Acro since its inception. Acro is a minority-owned business enterprise (MBE), which has been certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) since 1985. The company has been recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts not only as one of the Largest Staffing Firms in the U.S, but also among the nation’s top-5 minority-owned staffing firms. Additionally, Acro was honored by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) as a Corporate Plus Member®, a recognition reserved for certified MBEs with proven capabilities to serve clients on large-scale contracts. Diversity and inclusion are not just words

Empowerment in the D&I space is the reason Acro is able to provide best-in class service to its client base. Acro fosters a diverse workforce where employees feel comfortable bringing their unique perspectives to work. But diversity is only half of the story; inclusion is just as important. Inclusion means a sense of belonging. When Acro’s employees know they are crucial to its mission, not only will they thrive, but the company will, too.

To promote an inclusive culture, Acro encourages respect for each individual and hosts events for its employees to share tradition, culture, and cuisine unique to their culture. Additionally, to track progress Acro uses a variety of tools such as annual employee surveys, informal employee feedback, management team review of D&I metrics and initiatives and then the management team evaluates the most meaningful way in which to utilize the information gained to further the D&I initiatives of the organization.
