Responsibilities will include documenting structural design criteria and creating design to loads. Will collect the data required to build analysis models, conduct static and dynamic simulations, interpret and report the results. Will conduct flight loads, ground loads, vibration, and aeroelastic analysis and produce the associated documentation.
Basic Qualification:
Candidate must have experience with fixed wing aircraft loads and dynamics requirements. Candidate must have knowledge of analysis tools like Nastran, Patran, ZONAIR and MATLAB and how to apply them. Candidate must have an excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills. Minimum BS in engineering (AE or ME) and 9 years related experience is required. Candidate must be eligible to obtain and retain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Experience: Experience in vibration and sonic fatigue analysis is a plus. Candidates with Master's degrees and at least 7 years experience and a current secret clearance are preferred.
